Export issue with custom cutouts in Protocase Designer
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue when exporting a design with several custom cutouts in Protocase Designer. After exporting the file and reopening it, some of the cutout dimensions seem slightly shifted or misaligned compared to the original design. Has anyone experienced this before, and is there a recommended way to ensure cutouts stay perfectly accurate after export/import?

Has anyone had trouble with Protocase cutouts shifting on export/re-import? I've noticed it, particularly with complex shapes. My fix has been to slightly oversize the cutouts initially, then use a precise drill bit for final adjustments after the part arrives.
Is this a common problem or is there a better method? I'm a bit worried about inaccuracies in my next five nights at freddy'sanimatronic build! https://fivenightsatfreddysgame.io

Has anyone seen issues with Protocase cutouts moving during export and import? I've observed that, especially with intricate shapes.

Yes, this can happen due to rounding or grid snapping during export/import. Make sure all cutouts are aligned to the same reference origin and use consistent units (avoid switching between mm/inches). Exporting in a native or lossless format and disabling auto-adjust/snap features usually helps preserve exact dimensions.
