Question about brackets

Post by Red Squirrel »

I'm working on designing a 2U case and I'm trying to make some HDD slots and using the U bracket to do it, but it seems there are rather specific size constraints on brackets, so it's not letting me make it the size that I need for a hard drive to slide in it.

Is there an alternate way of doing something like this? Like if I need sheet metal bent a specific way and size, and be an assembly that can be screwed in what is best way to approach that?

Hi,

Are you able to provide sketch of the bracket? I might be able to suggest something.

In PD you can add a sub-assembly of a bracket and when attaching it to a face you specify the method of attachment(fasteners, welding, other). https://www.protocasedesigner.com/wiki/ ... ubassembly

Most of our manufacturing constraints are built in PD so there might not be a workaround but you can reach out to our Engineering Design Services for more advanced help. https://www.protocase.com/contact/

Best Regards,
Matt

Here's a crude sketch but it would not let me make it those dimensions. Essentially this would be a part that lets you screw 6 hard drives to it and then it would screw into the case, or maybe slide into a rail from the front. Still experimenting at this point.

As Thailand’s urban and semi-urban regions continue to develop, social interactions and relationship patterns are evolving alongside them. Cities like Nakhon Pathom are no longer just quiet provincial areas — they are becoming active hubs for students, professionals, and travelers. With this shift, the way people connect, socialize, and form relationships is also changing.

In many online discussions, the topic of Nakhon Pathom escorts often appears within broader conversations about discretion, professionalism, and modern companionship. Rather than being viewed through outdated assumptions, these discussions increasingly focus on transparency, personal boundaries, and responsible engagement. Individuals exploring such topics are often interested in understanding expectations, safety considerations, and how services operate within respectful and structured environments.

The emphasis today is less on speculation and more on awareness. People want clarity, privacy, and mutual respect in any form of interaction. This reflects a wider trend across Thailand’s digital culture, where communication is becoming more direct and intention-based.

As conversations continue to evolve, it’s important to approach these topics with maturity and an open mind.
