4K (3840 x 2160) text

Post by galto »

I use a 4K monitor. The text scaling/resolution doesn't work correctly. The dialog boxes, notifications and text window are nearly illegible, but the icons are scaled correctly.
It makes the software very difficult to use at high resolutions. Reducing the screen size is a work around, but most other applications handle the font scaling correctly.
Also, time for the protocase designer development team to get some 4K monitors. ;)

I can't seem to add a screenshot attachment, even if it's down to 500k. (Attachment too large)

Hello galto,

You should be able to change the text size in preferences. Go the file menu and click "Edit"->"Preference". The preference dialog should be visible now. Go to the "Display Settings" tab and at the bottom you should see "Interface Settings - Buttons, Tools & Labels". Click the "Custom" checkbox and choose the font size you want. There is an issue with the file menu not updating text size after this but if you restart the program you should be good.

Let me know if you need more help. :)

Regards,
Matt
