[PD 6] Pantone Color Chooser

Post by dallasbaker »

Hi,
I just upgraded to PD 6, and was modifying some graphics in an existing design. Is there a way to pick the "standard" colors (e.g., Fire Red, Pantone 355C) without consulting PD 5 for Pantone numbers (or the video / blog post about stocked and custom colors), and then matching those stocked colors to the hex values in the new color chooser? Thanks!

Hello dallaskbaker,

I think some of the nick names changed for our silkscreens and that is probably why you don't see the pantone code. I'll get a ticket added to get this worked on. What am think is add it to the tooltip that pops up under the color when you hover. Unfortunately that will require an update to the software. Here is a link to our website that should have the correct values but am not seeing the fire red pantone. I'll double check with people and get back to you. https://www.protocase.com/products/mate ... screen.php

Best Regards,
Matt
