<subj.> when creating a new rear bend rackmount case. I mean, what is the difference on the final product if the rackmount case has "seam welds" or has not "seam welds" ?

Re: what means "Has Seam Welds" ?
Hello again secarica,
What Has Seam Welds means is if your enclosure requires extra support for the design to be manufactured it will add seam welds to do. For example the 5-Sided Enclosure will require welds from the left to base sheet metal parts to keep the box nice and square. We have tack, spot and seam welding options available to do this.
Our website can probably explaining seam welding better than I. https://www.protocase.com/products/mate ... elding.php
For example if you need your enclosure to be water tight seam welding is good option. Tack welds will be used if seam welds is not chosen and it basically several small points of welding is added instead of continuous line of lining like seam welding.
Let me know if you have more questions or need further explanation.
Thanks,
Matt
