Cannot change metal type

Cannot change metal type
When I try to change the metal type the busy mouse icon shows up and never goes away. It just sits there trying to change the metal type forever and never succeeds. This only happens with designs that I have already added cutouts to (but it happens every time). If i try to change the metal type on a new design it will work fine. I need to change the material of my panels!
