Can you please email me the case file to
smanley@protocase.com?
I can have a look at the problem here then.
Thanks,
Steve

Any news on this ? Happens the same after I edit the .png image with GIMP.
(just export any silkscreen from Protocase Designer, add any graphical content with GIMP, then import back the .png in Protocase Designer)

Yes in fact there is some news on this. The current version of protocase designer only understands 24bit .png files (no transparency). The next version due out in mid february (and we are on track still for that release date) will be compatible with 32 bit .png files (which inkscape and gimp use). Currently, the best choice for an editor is paint.net which is a free editor. You have to select 24 bit when saving the file. The other option which is always available is to simply send the silkscreen you generate along with your case file when you order. Our graphics design team will get it placed correctly on your case.
Thank you,

when you are saving in gimp you can de-select the 'save transparency' -- i ran into this problem myself.
