Dues to different reason, but mainly EMI/EMC I like to use the U-shape template for design a 19" rack mountable case.
How can I add the usual rack mount flange to the design?
Is it better to buy it separately?

it is possible to add other parts into your template file. Please see the documentation here:

It would be no problem to order them in separate files and specify that they should be one assembly.
