Hi, can you guys do something like this to an enclosure face?

I'd prefer the collar to be made from the same gauge metal that the enclosure's face is made from.

Alternatively, can I send in one of these:

and have it spot welded to an enclosure face before painting?

I'm guessing that I'd have to make a note for an enclosure face and get a custom quote.

Hello Dan,
We cannot bend round collars like that however we could spot weld a purchased metal wall flange to your design (provided they are of compatible materials, we can't spot weld steel to aluminum for instance).

For you design, cut out any holes you need in the design and then use the mode tool to change from Cutout to Construct and draw a rectangle where you want the item welded. Use the note tool on the bottom right to tell our Engineering and Design Services that you want this part spot welded on there. (Please click one of the arrows above the note tool to accept the note - leaving the box does not currently save the note, this is a bug).

If you speak with our sales (either sales@protocase.com or your sales rep if you already have one with us) they can give you information about whether we can purchase this item or if you need to purchase it and ship it to us. also, if you don't want to use the note tool you can email your design to them along with your description of what needs to be done.
