I was wondering how I could put the motherboard mounts in and cable management in and how I could fully know exactly where everything would fit and go. Also how could I make I.O. mounts. Not exactly sure, do i need to download more content? I am using protocase.

Hey YoungColieu,

I'd like to show you our new computer templates. In order to use these, you will need to download our beta version of designer, found here: http://protocasedesigner.com/RELEASE/pr ... c24,15.exe

Once you download this version, you will be able to use our computer case templates. I have attached a file of our ATX motherboard template. This will take care of the motherboard mounting, as well as the I/O cutouts. Also, there is a cutout for the ATX PSU. You can edit the size of the enclosure by clicking 'Edit' (top toolbar) -> 'Enclosure Properties'. (Please ignore the design errors related to the ATX PCI CUTOUT and the CompositePath - Objects intersecting exclusion zone.)

From here, you will need to create the cutouts for mounting each component (fan, radiator, etc.). Protocase Designer has a cutout library, which already contains a cutout for your 120mm fan. Here is a link on how to use the cutout library: http://www.protocasedesigner.com/wiki/i ... ut_Library.

Unfortunately, Protocase Designer does not feature 3D models of components. When placing the cutouts, you will need to factor in the space needed for each component, making sure that there is no interference within the case. You can add notes onto these cutouts, to help provide information on what the cutout is for, or any specific details you feel are necessary.

Alternatively, you can use the Design Services offered by Protocase. Our Design Services team will be able to take your components, and tailor the enclosure to accommodate them.

I hope that this helps answer your questions and gets you started on having a cool case for your gaming pc. The custom computer enclosure templates are a relatively new pursuit for our Protocase Designer software, so I would love to hear any feedback you have.
