Bitmaps not appearing

I'm using Windows Vista/64bit. Every time I try and place a bitmap, I see only a small red dot on the face. I've tried bmp, jpg, png etc and none of them seem to work. I've also tried converting the bmp's to monochrome and very simple formats, but nothing seems to work?

First, can you make sure you are using the latest version? In help->about it should say 4.2.3. If not, please upgrade to the latest from our website at http://www.protocasedesigner.com/download.php. If you have the latest version, can you look in your My Documents\ProtocaseDesigner folder for a debug.0.log after having run the program and tried to place a bitmap on an enclosure? Either post that here or send it to dronne@protocase.com
