How do you create a recess

Post by narayankpl »

Newbie here.

I would like to create a recess on the bottom of the enclosure for holding the keypad. How do you create a recess on the bottom of the enclosure using Protocase designer.

Also is there a way to color constructs? There are invisible otherwise after I save and come out.

Currently there is not a way to create a recess in Protocase designer, however if you send an email to info@protocase.com with your enclosure file and a description of the recess you need our design services people should be able to add one for you.

Construct lines are something you can use to sketch stuff on the face editor that does not show up in the 3D viewer (or your enclosure). So you can use them as guides for drawing complicated shapes. If you want drawings on the face, use silkscreens.
