changing stud type

Post by mlaibow »

After ordering a case, I decided that I wanted to use 4-40 standoffs instead of 6-32 for the next batch.
Is there a way to change the type of stud/standoff without deleting it and placing a new one?
The design has 100s of studs/nuts/standoffs.

Thanks,
-mat

there isn't an automatic way but I could do the replacement for you if you sent me a design.

click on my user name and then the email dronne link. attach your case and tell me what studs to replace with what studs and I should be able to take care of it in an hour or two for you.

Thanks for your reply and your offer.
In the end I just wound up replacing them all manually while watching three movies, before I checked for a reply to my post.
Order is about to be placed.
Thanks again.

No problem, sorry it wasn't more convenient. I will put that on the list of features that should exist!

Thank you,
