This is the first time I learned to use Protocase Designer. It can be only save as .cas file. Can anybody tell me how to save or export to .pdc or .dxf format?

Protocase Designer can only save a full design as a .cas file currently. Cutouts can be saved as .pdc files. The next version, due out in a couple of months, will have the ability to save cutouts as dxf files as well and the file format for the designs will be .pda (protocase designer assembly). We also plan on including the ability to print out a to-scale drawing of a face.

If you place an order for your design with us we will provide drawings in any format that we are able (our mechanical engineers use solidworks, and it outputs in most common formats as far as I know.) Otherwise, you would have to purchase some design time from us. email
sales@protocase.com for enquiries.
