need to place hole/cutout in interference region

the mounts for my board are close to the edge of the enclosure. so close that it would be in the red no-go regions. i need to place 4 0.125" holes at 0.280" offset toward the inside. however, the min distance appears to be 0.400".

Can you tell me what type of box you are trying to place these holes and which face? Some of the keepouts are conservative, and some are not.

u-shape and i need some holes close to the front on the top and bottom panels. i needed a hole to free-fit a #6 thread, something like .150, about .200 from the edge.

After a conversation with one of our mechanical engineers, this is what I learned:
How far from a bend you can place a cutout depends on the material and its thickness. So if you want a cutout close to the edge, it can usually be done but we can't in the current Designer predict with accuracy whether or not it is possible. Therefore what we ask is that you make your case with everything but those holes and send an email to
sales@protocase.com when you place the order with measurements of hole size, or PEM type and coordinates for where it is placed. If you have questions while you are designing your box,
sales@protocase.com is still the correct email address to ask questions about the possibility of placing something in an exclusion zone.
Future versions of Protocase Designer will have the ability to set different exclusion zones based on the material and its thickness.
