Issue with placing self clinching fasteners

Post by ScottF »

Hi,

I have recently updated to Protocase Designer 4.4.3 and now when I try to place either a standoff or a stud, there is nothing to choose from. It shows the thread types and lengths, but does not show any part numbers.

Does anyone have any ideas on what's causing this?

Yes, an embarassing bug that happened when at the last minute I decided to format the lengths nicely and added either " or mm to the length. This was done witouth sufficient testing for which you have my apologies. If you download the following version:

http://www.protocasedesigner.com/RELEAS ... -Mar5b.exe it will not have this issue. There are still a couple bugs with this one: some issues if you use the Silkscreen->export template/ import template to create your silkscreens. These should be fixed by Monday or so.

Sincerely,
