Back panel inside face dimension
I have a PCB with a connector that must be flush with the rear panel inside face of a rack mount enclosure. To calculate the dimension of the inside face with respect to origin, do I subtract from the 15" depth both back panel and front panel thicknesses, or just the back panel? In other words, does the 15" depth include both the front and back panel thicknesses?
Re: Back panel inside face dimension
The 15" depth includes the back panel thickness but not the front panel thickness.
The Depth refers to the depth of the base part. The rear panel is flush with the base part so it is included. Does that answer your question?
