Can't open existing file or use "import" on cutout manager

Post by slyman@uw.edu »

Everything is working fine, except that when I click the button to open an existing file it doesn't do it, and when I click the import button on the cutout manager it won't do that. It doesn't freeze up or anything. it just ignores my request. when I click to open another file it asks if I want to save the current file, but after I make that selection it just leaves the current file open and doesn't let me open anything else.

Please help. thanks. I have the latest version installed. I installed it today.

It sounds to me like you may have managed to create some kind of cutout that is scrambled in some way maybe. Can you send me the *.cas file you can't open? Also, the Cutouts file (located in "c:\Program Files\Protocase Designer\Cutouts" if you installed in the normal location. This will allow me to determine if one of these files is corrupted or if there is something else going on.

To get my email, click on my name, then the email dronne link.

Sorry for the trouble!
