Importing Sub Assemblies
I'm new to Protocase Design, so I might be missing something. I'm having issues importing Sub Assemblies. I've created two independent Bracket (.pda) files. When I import the brackets as sub-assemblies into the Personal Library, it doesn't work. It's either trying to import the same master design drawing again, or nothing at all with zero dimensions. I'm running Version 7.0.36.

I think you should import each file one by one, check the import options are correct.graeme paech wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 9:34 pmI'm new to Protocase Design, so I might be missing something. Re: Importing Sub Assemblies
Try importing each bracket individually, not together, and double-check the sub-assembly import options—this usually avoids the zero-dimension or duplicate master issue.

Re: Importing Sub Assemblies
If you import individual part files, the software may reference the original master design or load with zero dimensions. Try converting each bracket into its own assembly and then re-import it into the Personal Library.
