Home Directory and User Preferences

I changed the "Home Directory" in Preferences to a network drive in order to share the user library with my colleagues. However, it appears that Preferences are also stored in this location (conf file). Can an extra option be added to store the conf file be separate from the home directory location?

thanks for the great suggestion. We will implement a way to separate the user library and conf file locations as soon as we can. We will follow up with you once this is available.
