Re: Linux version of PD on Ubuntu 22.10
Hey kirbyn, Based on dkonigs potential fix. Download the latest version of PD https://www.protocasedesigner.com/download/download-confirm.php?format=11 Open a terminal and run the following. cd /opt/ProtocaseDesigner cd LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/ProtocaseDesigner/natives/occjava/linux-x86_64 ./ProtocaseD...

Re: Personal Template
Hey Ti-Paul, Thanks for the update, it helps me understand what is happening. So if you got a PDA from our design services team they may have made a Fixed Template. Fixed Templates are normally used when an aspect of the design can't be replicated in Protocase Designer directly or easly. The unfortu...

Re: Personal Template
Hey Ti-Paul,
I don't think there is any restriction on the parameters of person templates. I'll double-check though. I am curious, how did you make the template?
Matt

Re: Linux version of PD on Ubuntu 22.10
Hello dkonigs,
I agree the linux build isn't a priority and mainly works on fresh and clean installs.
Thanks for the potential fix.

Re: Personnal Library Item not displayed correctly
Hey Ti-Paul,
Currently, imported STEP files can only be a static Component in Protocase Designer. This means it is pink and not editable. You can still add things to the component but it won't behave as it would on standard sheet metal parts in Designer. Hopefully that helps.
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Paint thickness...
Hello Miles, Our tolerances are on the website. Took me a little bit to find but here it is https://www.protocase.com/resources/tolerances/finishes.php#tolerances. If you go to finish tolerances and powdercoat you can see it 0.003". For graphic tolerances you can also find it on the website but it's...

Odd. IF you can get the debug.0.logs and send them to me I can review them. Maybe I can see something.
Normally your log files are stored /Users/"yournamehere"/ProtocaseDesigner

Hello kirbyn,
I think this is the first time I have seen this message. Similar messages on Linux were fixed by removing FreeCad from the system. Do you have FreeCad installed?
Thanks,
Matt

Re: ProtocaseDesigner 6.0.27 unusable on Windows 10
Can you send the debug log when you ran the older version of PD? Might be the same issue and if so I have an other older version you can try that shouldn't have this issue.
Thanks,
Matt
Thanks,
Matt
