Re: Is the Problem Checker _too_ smart?

Hello Chris, I think there is actually no problem. Really looks a like a false positive to me. What I think is happening is the group the component is in intersects the boundary of profile of the face it is on. This may or may not be an issue depending on whether or not a gap exists between the adja...

Re: 1U template - Unreachable Front Panel space

Hello Chris, We are always updating our templates in order to improve their manufacturability so it's possibly the flanges changed size. For your case am assuming our engineers updated the flanges sizes to reduce their size. I would have to look into this to find out more. Currently the default flan...

Re: Payment options? Plus my idea.

We have three computer enclosure templates in Protocase Designer.

1.) ATX size
2.) Mini-ITX (no PCI)
3.) Mini-ITX

We don't have a specifically designed PSU template.

Re: Payment options? Plus my idea.

Hey edward78, Looks like you can use the U-Shape in Protocase Designer to design this enclosure. You will have to add your cutouts as needed to fit your components. After you are done you quote/order directly from Protocase Designer. I wish I could of found files on J-Hack that could help you out bu...

Re: Margin of error for cutout.

Hey djtazzmtl, Most times you will need a tolerance on your cutouts. Here is a link explaining our tolerances based on our machines. https://www.protocase.com/resources/tolerances/profile-cutting.php#tolerances Pretty much every thing in Protocase Designer goes to the laser, pockets would go to the ...

Re: Origin of top and bottom panels

Hello vak6819, The red origin should match the position the of the red origin you see in the 3D but shown in 2D. We call this origin the assembly view origin. Unfortunately I can't think of any way to adjust that origin sorry. Some times we update the origin locations to make more sense with your pr...

Re: Just wondering?

Am not sure what type of PSU you are looking at j-jackcompany.

dimensions:
Dimensions: 191 mm x 258 mm x 87 mm external. 4.3L

what I saw online for sfx psu
100mm (L) × 125 mm (W) × 63mm (H)

The dimensions don't line.

Re: Can't install.

Hello edward,

Do you know if you have any permission issues on the folder you are trying to install PD into?

Are you installing it in /usr/local ?

Mostly like this has to do with something with you setup but I might be able to help I just don't know what could be wrong.

Thanks,

Matt

Re: An idea/

Hello Edward78, Looks like you could possibly use a u-shape template to build this. My only caution would be from the picture it seemed to be missing the side flanges and Protocase Designer currently doesn't have the option to hide/remove those. If you need assistance maybe our sales or design servi...

Re: 4K display issue

Hello Frozen001,

We just made a release(5.3.21) with a fix for this. You will notice the buttons are small. To fix the small buttons just go into Preferences and choose the Standard size option.

Post if you need help and I will get back to you as soon as I can. :)

Thanks,
Matt
