If one invokes "Instant Quote and Purchasing" -> "Instant Quote", the results shown in the default browser do not include the current file name.
In my case it lists just the template name.
If I have many enclosures all using the same template, I will not be able to tell them apart.

Re: Transparent 3D objects?
One work-around I found for this is to place cutouts/labels on one side of the panel, and the 3D object on the other side of the panel. The unfortunate side-effect is that when working on the cutout/label side of the panel, you cannot see the 3D component (and how it conflicts or clears the cutouts)...

Re: Default snap behaviour.
I just ran into this.
This is really bad behavior. It took me a while to figure out why PD was moving stuff around without me asking it to.
I have a video of the offending behavior if needed.
Please fix this asap.

Re: Is the Problem Checker _too_ smart?
The Problem Check returns happy results when a 3D Step component that has panel-protruding bits, is placed on the same panel as the protruding-bits-cutout . success.PNG The moral of the story: When placing a 3D step file, consider which face has elements that need to protrude through a panel. When y...

Re: Is the Problem Checker _too_ smart?
Hi Matt, The group component was placed on the bottom panel . The error msg indicates a problem with the back panel . This is confirmed by moving the PCB component away from the back panel (Y-axis), while keeping the Z coord the same. If this is done the error goes away. This tells me that there is ...

Re: 1U template - Unreachable Front Panel space
I though this seemed familiar. From May 2020, see: 1U Rackmount Default exclusion areas https://forum.protocase.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=544 I can certainly make-do the way it is. I thought that you all would like to know that the physical enclosure that I had received has more room to play with than...

Re: Is the Problem Checker _too_ smart?
I tried to lower the PCB, and made the Eth jack cutout larger (taller).
No change. The checker still complains.

1U template - Unreachable Front Panel space
Hi folks, Unless the 1U Rackmount template has changed since I last ordered one of these: The bend flange, bending up from the bottom on the front edge, is not nearly as tall as shown in the cad drawing. In other words, the CAD model does not allow you to use a bit of the front panel (near the lower...
