Re: Major bug in 6.022 (for Windows)

Hello Sharx,

The ability to modify the z offset for components even in a group would be helpful and I think we did have it in version 5.

We have talked internally about adding a IO/etc cutouts that would follow components. Defiantly would be handy. Maybe a future feature release. :)

Re: Flanged Bracket Template

Hello DGB, Are the design considerations, Height must be > 0.29" for metal thicknesses < 0.075", your own, or something the Protocase Designer is forcing you to do? The one-inch size rule in Protocase Designer is correct and helps ensure manufacturability. If you want something less than one inch I ...

Re: Template Request - Rackmount ATX

Hello Zain,

I think your best bet is try SolidWorks. Protocase Designer doesn't have ability to modify the number of bends and if you want to add the ledge for the PCI fingers you will need to that.

Re: [PD 6] Pantone Color Chooser

Hello dallaskbaker, I think some of the nick names changed for our silkscreens and that is probably why you don't see the pantone code. I'll get a ticket added to get this worked on. What am think is add it to the tooltip that pops up under the color when you hover. Unfortunately that will require a...

Re: Rack server design guideline?

Hello Raymond,

Here is a some information on our rackmount template. We follow the normal height, width, and depths of rackmounts so that they fit in a server rack. https://www.protocase.com/products/elec ... kmount.php

Let me know if you need any thing else. :)

Re: Instant Quote and Purchasing

Hello Joel, First I would try instant quoting again because maybe it was just network issue. If the issue persists I wonder if has to do with network file wall settings. Users that work behind a Proxy can have this issue. The suggested fix is explained here and look at item 8. https://www.protocased...

Re: Template Request - Rackmount ATX

Hello Zain, I started writing this reply yesterday and forget to complete it. Currently we do not have a Rackmount ATX enclosure. We just haven't seen any demand for it. But you can add a ATX pem layout and cutouts from the library. Maybe that is good enough. Let me know if you need more help. Matt
