Because that is buggy in virtualbox, and I have only managed to get it working with that un-selected. also, try the latest version from http://www.protocasedesigner.com/wiki/index.php/Knowledgebase_-_Software_Fixes_Released it has fixes fo...

Re: Windows 8 Compatibility

There is a setting you can change in preferences
(Edit->Preferences) that selects whether the change is accepted on an enter or when the mouse leaves the field.

Re: Beginning Work on Protocase Designer 4

We have definitely Thought about this, and will eventually implement it. We have some pressing internal software we need to finish, and we are going to be adding limited machining at some point as well. That said, the machining addition will give us most of what we need to do that.

Re: How do we make Protocase Designer better?

Some very good suggestions, and I am going to add 1 and 2 to the list. We recently revamped the dxf reader - dxf is a standard that has changed over and over, and many other cad software have implemented their variants that aren't quite compliant. There are still probably many software packages that...

Re: Problem importing silkscreen bitmap

Our Apologies,

Re: Text Color Change?

After you type your text and hit return, the text will be highlighted. There will be tools on the right to change color, font, size, and style (as well as the usual location). It would be nicer if you could change these before you complete your text but that is not yet implemented. Sincerely, --Doug...

Re: Can I use .DXF import instead of .PNG for screening?

We have plans to rework the dxf import to allow this. In the meantime, you can send the dxf files along with your order and we can make the silkscreens from that. Just be clear in the email what you need.

Sincerely,

Thanks for the sleuthing!
