Re: Annotating Through Holes?
Hello, We do not use drill bits, we use a laser. We recommend you use a hole that is about .05" larger diameter than the largest your screw would need (for paint). So a web page like http://www.engineersedge.com/screw_threads_chart.htm is very useful in determining what those sizes are. If you do ne...

Re: Imperial measurements
Hello, The measurement tool was created for our internal use, then we decided it was useful enough to include in designer. We will make it obey the user's preferences at some point, but for now if you need metric measurements, the distance tool will give you those (just not in a nice graphical forma...

Re: Problem with notes
I can see how this happens, we should be able to fix it. It only saves if there is a change that can be undone - that is how we detect that there is something to save. For now, if you add a circle or something to your cutout, then it will be able to save, then you can delete that cutout and save aga...

Re: How to print
Hello Eric, I am sorry this feature isn't quite working right for you. Could you submit a question via the Help->ask a question interface in designer? This will provide me with your file and debugging information which will assist me in fixing this issue. I am not able to recreate the issue with the...

Re: Accept and Close doesn't work
Hello,
I believe I have found the problem,
We were not handling the possible different character sets when saving the Autosave. Could you try the version at
http://www.protocasedesigner.com/RELEAS ... l28,15.exe?
Thank you!

Re: Accept and Close doesn't work
Hello, and sorry I took so long to respond. If you are still having this problem, I need to know the exact steps you went through to re-create it. So what template you were using, what you added to a face, etc. Also, if you can send me the debug.0.log from your Documents\ProtocaseDesigner\ directory...

Re: Bug Report: Trimming circle or ellipse causes oversize box
Hello Jonathan, This one is interesting... We are using Java.awt.GeneralPath internally for our objects that are made up of segments. We simply call the getBounds2D() of this Java object, so this error is internal to Java.awt so we will have to make our own bounding algorithms to fix this. We probab...

Re: Bug Report: re-trimming of trimmed ellipses breaks the shape
Hello Jonathan,
This one might take us a bit to solve, in fact an elliptical arc segment will not intersect with another ellipse, elliptical arc segment, circle, or circular segment.
Thank you,
