Re: 5 sided nested in a bigger 5 sided

Hi JBalb, you can accomplish this by using the 'sub-assembly' tool. Here are directions on how to use this tool (the directions mention using a bracket as a sub-assembly, but you can use any enclosure): http://www.protocasedesigner.com/wiki/index.php?title=Face_Editor#Creating_and_adding_a_bracket_o...

Re: EATX

Hi jaxnz,

unfortunately we do not have an EATX template. You could either use the ATX layout and add a note to your design stating you want this layout extended for an EATX board. Or you could create the layout yourself using the tools in the face editor.

Re: Question regarding flush self clinching nut/additional plate

Hey alext, The rendering for these flush nuts is incorrect. You are right in that they should not be protruding from either side. After consulting with our engineering department, they have two suggestions for you. If you want the plate to make contact with the chassis, go with a self clinching stud...

Re: Protocase Designer 4.6.10 issues

Hey JRiggles, We definitely want to help get these issues sorted out. Could you please attempt to recreate both these issues and then send us the debug.* logs in the ProtocaseDesigner directory (usually found under /Documents/ProtocaseDesigner). Re: Personal Library

Hey vlsinfo,

I just tried to recreate this on our current development version but it seems to be fixed so this may just be a bug in our 4.5.2 version. Thank you for your feedback.

We have a release planned to launch very soon.

Re: "ProtocaseDesigner" is damaged and can't be opened.

Hey federicohyo, The way to solve this issue is to change the security settings in Gatekeeper to 'allow apps downloaded from mac store and identified developers'. On some installations of Protocase Designer this may need to be 'allow apps downloaded from anywhere'. Since you are running Sierra, you ...

Mac Installation Issue "Protocase Designer is damaged"

Hi everyone, due to the Gatekeeper security settings in Mac OSX, you may see this message when you are installing Protocase Designer. The good news is, the file isn't actually damaged and can be installed after doing the following steps. 1) If you are running a version older than OSX Sierra, skip to...

Re: Cutout Properties

Hello trindt,

you should be able to right click on the cutout in the face editor and select 'properties'.

This properties window should accommodate the lengthy name better.
