Hey Koss,
thanks for the great suggestion. We will implement a way to separate the user library and conf file locations as soon as we can. We will follow up with you once this is available.
Thanks,
Colin

Re: Bracket fixings to case
Hey birty,
no, adding fixings/mounting hardware is not required! If you would like to add it, feel free but you could just leave a note on your design, or forwarded to your account manager/design services member with specifications on how you want a part to mount (i.e. using PEMS or welding)

Re: Cutout Placement to Align with Standoffs
Hey Panometric,
it would not hold true in this case. The standoff is inserted into the bottom plate, which sits a distance above the origin of the front face.

Re: Face Designer Zoom wheel always zooms in
Hey Panometric,
that's definitely not the expected behavior. Would you mind trying to recreate this issue, and then send us the debug.0 log (found in the Procase Designer directory).
You can email us the log directly at designer@protocase.com
Thanks,
Colin

Re: Anyone running Designer on Fedora?
Hi ccaudle,
"Do you happen to know if it is possible to force Mesa to report an older version of the OpenGL API?"
No, I'm not aware of a way to do this. I will get ask our lead developer, dronne, to see if he has any suggestions.

Re: Anyone running Designer on Fedora?
Hi ccaudle, I don't believe that using openjdk is a problem. I have Protocase Designer 4.6.13 running on a VM using Fedora 27 using open jdk 1.8. openjdk version "1.8.0_161" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_161-b14) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.161-b14, mixed mode) glxinfo64 | grep -i ...

Re: counter boring
Hi stuart, counter-bored holes are not implemented in Designer currently, although we are working towards features such as this and pockets. Although we don't have the capability to show this feature, we can still manufacture it. Please put a note on the hole, or pass the info along to your account ...

Re: Relative pricing
Hey Panometric, I understand what you mean. Because everything we manufacture is custom, and our pricing is rather complex, it is difficult to publish a simple list of pricing formulas. That said, we appreciate the feedback, and I’ve asked the sales/marketing teams to look into producing some techni...

Re: 1U Extruded Brackets
Hey Panometric, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Unfortunately, Designer does not have the ability to edit the face profiles in to make them larger and we do not have a template that matches what you want. We can definitely accommodate for what you want though. I would suggest that yo...
