Re: Mouse Pointer Bug With Windows Scaling
Hey Mason,
It does sound like the scaling may have exaggerated a slight offset that was there before.
We'll look into it, and get back to you with any information we find.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Mark

Re: Mouse Pointer Bug With Windows Scaling
Hi Masonrf, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. What version of Designer are you using? The latest version is 5.2. If you are using an older version, try downloading that and see if it resolves your issue. Here's the link https://www.protocasedesigner.com/download/ Please let us know if you contin...

Re: Importing Component Step (.stp) File into Protocase Designer
Hi Jay, The component import feature is fairly new, so everyone's a newbie on this one! There is a Component button in the top toolbar of the Face Editor, which opens the Import dialog so you can select your step file. We are still adding the documentation to the wiki, but we have a video and a blog...

Re: DE-9 ?
Hi John,
Thanks for the reply.
I believe you are right about the incorrect name being used.
We'll add that to the name in the library, to make it easier to find in the future!
Thanks,
Mark

Re: Design Error Description Blank
Hi Rhhollin, Sorry you are having an issue in Designer. That is definitely a bug, but we would need to look at your PDA file to determine if there actually are any issues, or if this is a false positive. The best way to determine if there is actually an error, is through the Ask a Question feature u...

Re: Linux Ubuntu 18.04.3 Java output
Hi S1ugh34d, Thanks for you interest in Protocase Designer. The current version of Designer doesn't work properly with the OpenJDK bundled with Ubuntu. In an upcoming release, we will be using OpenJDK11, but for now we recommend using Oracle's JDK8 on Linux with Designer. Let us know if we can help ...

Re: Cutout from vector
Hi Alex, Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. We don't currently have the ability to import cutouts directly from SVGs, but we can import DXF files. If you can convert the file into DXF, there are a couple of ways to add it to your design. Here is some more information from our Wiki on how ...

Hi John,
My name is Mark, with Designer Support.
I think what you are looking for is called a DB9 in our cutout library.
Hope this helps, and thanks for using Designer!
