using stand offs crashes face editor
When I try and place a stand-off or copy it or group them together I have to complete close down Protocase and then open it back up to get it to respond to any commands or actions. I click save on my way out and stuff show up where I left it but going un-responsive each time I touch it get pretty an...

Re: How do we make Protocase Designer better?
I did not read thru all of these, but I would like to be able to move a cutout or text (when it's selected) with the arrow keys on my keyboard instead of the mouse.

Re: Problems with silk screen on both sides of a panel
OK, found the layers but I'm already done with the panel. Is there a way to add existing items to different layers, or do you have to add the layer first then build on top of it?
Thanks,
Jeremiah
Thanks,
Jeremiah

Re: Problems with silk screen on both sides of a panel
I'm currently using 4.3.1 and did not find anything about layers.
This is just a flat blanking panel so no screws, just the 2 holes on each side to mount to the rack.
Thanks,
Jeremiah

Problems with silk screen on both sides of a panel
I'm trying to design a 1u rack panel with silk screen text on both sides. The big problem I'm having is when I'm trying to select some text on the side I'm working on, it will sometimes select the text that is on the back side of the panel. This is a HUGE annoyance, especially if I'm trying to selec...

Easy way to mirror ink stamping to opposite face
Our company likes to use a lot of patch panel type designs, 1u and 2u panels. I layout all the holes and label them and would like to have the ink stamp visible on the back side as well for ease in installation. Is there an easy way to mirror all the labels I did on the front to the back? I really d...

40mm fan cutout on 1u rackmount panel
I'm trying to place your 40mm fan cutout on a 1u rack mount enclosure, on the front panel and it is not letting me. I'm attempting to duplicate something like this:

Re: Request for new cutout or how to design custom cutout
Just designed my own custom cutout. The directions worked great. Using construct lines really helped also. Thanks!

Re: Issue with grouping silkscreen and PEMs
I'm currently using that version. What I'm trying to save is a what I was talking about above. A silkscreen and PEM's grouped together. I can save it and see it in my library until I close the program then it's not there anymore.

Re: Issue with grouping silkscreen and PEMs
Thanks for the quick response! As long as I can use the grouping of silkscreen and PEM's during layout and design, I can live with not having silkscreen on the produced product. I'm just using the silkscreen to create the layout and can delete it before production. How about the issue of my added li...
